ISTA Irish and Scottish Dancing School invites you to Celtic Summer - Summer School of Irish and Scottish Dancing in Cracow, Poland (17-31 July 2004).

1st Summer School of Irish Dancing
Guest teacher: James Devine, World Champion, Gaelforce Dance lead dancer and choreographer, the fastest dancer in the world according to the Guinness Book of World Records.

2nd Summer School of Scottish Dancing
Guest teacher: Rik de Vroome, certified highland dances teacher, a member of the Scottish Dance Teachers Association.

Various workshops to choose from and combine, different levels, fees start from 20 euro per workshop!

ISTA Irish and Scottish Dancing School invites you to Celtic Summer - Summer School of Irish and Scottish Dancing in Cracow, Poland (17-31 July 2004)

1st Summer School of Irish Dancing
Guest teacher: James Devine, World Champion, Gaelforce Dance lead dancer and choreographer, the fastest dancer in the world according to the Guinness Book of World Records (38 taps per second!).
Eight days of tuition, seven teachers, eleven two-day workshops (various techniques and levels - softshoe, hardshoe, ceili and performance dancing) to choose from and combine. Fees start from 20 euro for one workshop.
Dates: 17-24th July 2004

2nd Summer School of Scottish Dancing
Guest teacher: Rik de Vroome, certified highland dances teacher, a member of the Scottish Dance Teachers Association.
Six days of tuition, four teachers, six three-day workshops (various techniques and levels - highland, sword, national dances, Scottish Country Dances) to choose from and combine. Fees start from 25 euro for one workshop.
Dates: 25-31st July 2004

In addition, for participants of Celtic Summer we offer free dancing classes: technique of Irish dancing and Scottish highland dancing, ballet technique and Polish dances for beginners! Everyday one of the ballet-rooms will be available for participants of our summer school for personal exercises or for mastering the material from previous classes. All classes will take place in professional mirrored ballet-rooms (Nowa Huta Culture Centre, Cracow, Poland).

Apart from dance tuition we invite you to many accompanying events: Open Stage (the festival of Irish dancing with performances by various Irish dancing groups from Poland and abroad), Scottish dancing performances, Scottish Ball and ceilidh, Irish ceili, music concerts, photo exhibitions, shopping opportunities and other attractions! For the participants of Celtic Summer the admittance to these events is free.

Celtic Summer will take place in Cracow, beautiful town full of historical monuments, picturesque places, lovely cafes and clubs. We are sure you will enjoy unique athmosphere and affordable prices during your stay in Cracow!
